Last year Dr. Scott Shamblott of Shamblott Family Dentistry in Hopkins created Operation Open Wide, an opportunity for his dental office to serve our veterans. Last year approximately 15 veterans were provided the dental care they needed at no charge. His entire dental practice for one day, devoted all of their care to veterans.
I have attached a flyer that provides all of the details and my contact information, and I am the person the veteran is supposed to call to be put on the first come-first served list.
Dr. Shamblott is hopeful other dentists will want to be a part of this caring service to our veterans some time during the year. If you know of any dentists you think might be interested, please pass on my contact information and I would be happy to share more details of the program.
