Subject: Minneapolis Service Platoon Leader Position Available – The Mission Continues
Twin Cities Veterans!
If you are looking for a way to give back to your community, and lead a team of volunteers through a series of projects and opportunities – then we encourage you to join us at THE MISSION CONTINUES!
This is your opportunity to report for duty in your community as a leader! The Mission Continues has an immediate need to select a new Platoon Leader for the Minneapolis Service Platoon that is serving North Minneapolis (see attached Operation North Advance description). The candidate who is selected would be required to attend Charlie Class 2017 Orientation in Boston, July 14-16, 2017; flight, room and board are covered! Your role as Platoon Leader would officially start after completing your training at Charlie Class.
Mission Continues Service Platoon Leaders are at the forefront of a movement of veterans continuing their service in their home communities. Service Platoon Leaders are responsible for organizing a Platoon, recruiting members, planning missions or service projects, and upholding The Mission Continues core values at all times. They’ll work directly with The Mission Continues staff to achieve these goals.
For more information and to apply to serve as a volunteer Platoon Leader, CLICK HERE:https://www.missioncontinues.org/service-platoons/lead/
Applications are due no later than MAY 15, 2017 – so apply today! IF you have applied to be a Platoon Leader in the past 6-months, then I ask instead of re-submitting an online application, notify me directly at email@example.com of your interest to apply.
