Employment Opportunity – Driver Needed

Driver/Transporter needed

One month position available starting Dec 10 driving a van filled with sensitive equipment, unloading the equipment with the use of the lift on the van, transporting nursing home patients, transferring them from wheelchairs, maintain positive interaction with patients, clients and staff, demonstrate a can-do attitude.

Must be able to drive the van, have no lifting restrictions, work full days and walk all day. Start and end the day in St. Louis Park. Monday-Friday, 7 am – 3 pm. Clean driving record, background check and drug screen. Be a team player working with others and patients. Good communication skills.

Employment Opportunity

We are a mobile dental practice that needs someone to drive a van, unload sensitive equipment that is on wheels, and transport patients to the dental area. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Equity Coordinator Position open at the Minnesota Department of Human Services

The Equity Coordinator will provide guidance and support to division directors, managers, and staff in the Community Supports Administration (CSA) at the Minnesota Department of Human Services on equity-related issues and activities. This position will also be responsible for facilitating the CSA’s internal equity initiatives. With the support of the division directors, this person will coordinate with staff at all levels to assess equity and inclusion awareness/capacity, identify activities to build equity and inclusion, and implement those activities at all levels of the Administration. This position will work in partnership with the CSA Equity Committee to achieve alignment with the DHS Equity Policy. Equity is a key part of the CSA Strategic Plan and the Equity Coordinator will also play a role in supporting the work outlined in the Plan.

Upcoming DNR Veteran Employment Seminar

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, a Yellow Ribbon company, is proud to announce its first Veteran Employment Seminar on January 3, 2018.  It’s an informational event where veterans can learn about jobs in the DNR and how they match up with their military job skills.  DNR staff can answer their questions on education requirements and work experience as well as guide them on how to set up job searches and notifications.

Please help us spread the word especially the Guard/Reserve units that you are connected with. Space is limited and registration is required.  The attached pdf flyer gives you the seminar information that veterans need.
