Deputy Chief Plekkenpol has been a member of the Plymouth Police Department  since 1988 and has served in many roles.  He is currently the Commander for the Professional Standards Division and provides management and leadership to many important functions of the Plymouth Police Department such as the administration of policy, hiring, training, internal affairs, emergency management and supporting the Chief of Police and the chain of command.
