Ms. Grismer is an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the Wayzata Public Schools, working with families and children birth to 7 years of age.  She was recently awarded the Employee Excellence Award and was honored at the September 2012 School Board Meeting.  She is a member of the District Equity Leadership committee, serves on the ECSE Professional Development Committee and the ECSE data team.  She is the primary liaison for the due process IEP data management program, training and mentoring all special education staff on the system. She has been working with children since graduating from Concordia College, Moorhead MN in 1988 with a degree in Elementary Education and Coaching.  She went on to get a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Special Education and Family Education from the University of St. Thomas.  She is a member of the City of Plymouth’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and the Hennepin County Medical Reserve Corp (MRC).
